Dr. Patricia L. Andrade, MD, FACS, is a General Surgeon with her own private practice in New Bedford, MA with a special interest in breast care. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Dr. Andrade received her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and graduated from Brown University Medical School. She performed her surgical residency close to home at Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Andrade is a second generation Cape Verdean American and have a strong interest in the development of Cape Verde both economically and more specifically in the area of healthcare delivery and policy. She is an active member of CABO, Inc. for almost two years. She also serves as the chairperson of the Board of Health for the City of New Bedford and has served on the BOH for 13 years. Serving on the BOH according to her, has allowed Dr. Patricia Andrade to proactively implement public healthcare policies for the citizens of New Bedford where a vast number of Capeverdeans call home.

Dr. Andrade resides in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts and holds a strong passion of traveling to Cabo Verde.
